GIRL SCOUT BAKE SALE
Girl Scout Troop 8054 will hold a bake sale at the Shelter on Saturday May 18 from 10am to 2pm. All proceeds will be directed to the Shelter. Please come out and support this worthwhile event.
SEEKING DONATIONS OF BEST BUY GIFT CARDS
We are looking at purchasing a Tri-Pod and Video Camera for the Shelter and are asking for donations of Best Buy Gift Cards - if you can help us out, please bring the gift cards to the shelter or you can also mail them. We want to start videotaping our Dog Training sessions and may even include some taping of our wonderful cats.

SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS WANTED
We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Shelter on Saturdays during our open hours from 10 am - 2 pm. This would involve greeting visitors, giving tours of the Shelter, assisting with adoptions, assisting with intake and processing of strays, and general shelter duties. If you have ever wondered what happens during our open hours and would like to learn more or become more involved with the Shelter, please contact Cindy Amacher, Co-Manager of Office Operations.

On December 3, 2009, we said good-bye to our friend Champ. He had a wonderful life at our Shelter, touching the hearts of everyone he came in contact with. In his memory, a "Champ Fund" has been established at the Maple Knoll Vet Clinic. This fund will be used for special medical procedures and tests for our Shelter animals. Please consider donating to this fund in memory of Champ.
